No more arguing about where Horseshoe Lake is

Griffin was an intern this winter with the Lower Colorado River Authority where he was part of the GIS (Geographic Information Systems) department. In addition to his projects for the department, they allowed Griffin to use the systems to create a map of the Snowy Range, which included labeling rivers, lakes and trails.

His goal was to confirm where Horseshoe Lake was located. It has been a source of continued debates each evening at the cabin. Other than Dick and Ken, everyone else has had no clue what they were talking about.

Griffin plans to bring up a printed version of this map to the cabin this summer to help settle all debates of where lakes are, and which fish are there!

The original size can be found HERE (Note, it is very large -59MB- so may not download quickly). A smaller sized file is HERE that gives you an idea of the map.
